' Super ! Perfect for reception children. I was surprised that they sat still for so long. It was
relaxed but focused ! Children dressing up was great, and all children involved in making voices. Worked really well - reinforcing alot of what we'd done ourselves in class '
on Goldlilocks & Jack and the Beanstalk - Karen Russsell - Cradle Hill Primary School, Seaford
' Thank you for coming to our school, we all really enjoyed it and didn't want it to end. When you dressed people up you were really funny, and we all learnt something new. It was great, and thank you again for coming, and hope you defeat the Saxons! '
' We really enjoyed the workshop and the Viking props you used. The first bit when we were walking in and we saw things we had never seen before, and the music was on, and then you jumped out really scared me and my friends! We learnt something new and interesting
and we really found it hilarious. Thank you for coming in '

' Really enjoyed the hands-on aspect of it, in particular the dancing and jousting. The children were riveted ! Alot of information was fed through in a really interesting way. Great questions were asked to the children and it was a great intro to the topic ' on the Tudors Explorers Show - Gemma Jones - Orchards Middle School, Worthing
' Excellent content with just the right level of detail. The engagement with the kids was really good - they were throroughly hooked. Good mix of humour, drama and historical detail. The performance brought to life the leading characters and will help us gain a better understanding of events, motives and reactions. Excellent. '

' Good cross-curricular links, complimented by fun and humour. Good entertainment for the teachers and children alike. The children particularly enjoyed being able to join in as members of the crew. They loved the suspense when maiting to meet the next pirate - I don't think they realised there was only one actor. The children were engaged and enthused throughout. A great performance, encouraging an infectious enthusiasm for this topic in a creative and stimultaing way '
on the Pirates Show - Gemma Hayward - St' John Meads CE Primary School, Eastbourne

' Excellent, Children were kept focused all the time, with much detail remembered by the children the following day, re-telling in their own words as part of their Literacy lesson. Well pitched at the age range '
on the Anglo-Saxons Show - Alison Windle - Westbourne House School, Chichester
' A superby stimulating performance! Our children were captivated form the start to finish,
bringing the Great Fire of London to life. The energy of Samuel Pepys made the story so real for the children with excellent humour that our children could understand. We have had the
best writing we have ever had thanks to an excellent stimulus '

' On Wednesday, 30th January, Year 6 was involved in
a WWII workshop. The purpose of this workshop was to bring to life the history
topic that the Year 6 children have been studying. In my opinion, I think that
the man presenting the show made it realistic and I liked the way he interacted
and included the audience.
At the beginning of the show, none of the children really knew what to expect
when all of a sudden, an air-raid siren went off and smoke started filling the
room. The presenter then appeared dressed in a warden's uniform, blowing his
whistle and telling everyone to move. We all started running and were bundled
inside a small pen made of benches. Very realistic sounds were played on a radio
making crashing noises. He then told us that it was a false alarm and
introduced himself as 'Joseph'. We went back to sit down and when settled, he
began to explain that he was an Air-Raid Warden. I found it all very
informative as much of it hadn't yet been taught in our history lessons yet.
I think that the workshop was brilliant as we were allowed to dress up at
appropriate times; he taught us songs, marching and also some 1940s dancing.
Once again, the air-raid siren went off and this time, two children who had
been called up to the front (and were now dressed as Air-Raid Wardens,
themselves) were hurrying us all into the small, makeshift bomb shelter. After
that was over, we were shown a small amount of food that would have been an
adult's rations for a week! We were then shown and told about a ration book,
which was needed to buy food.
The presenter then left for a moment only to reappear minutes later dressed as
a Home Guard soldier. Everybody was then informed about the Home Guard which
turned out to be just as interesting. To finish, we were taught a great dance
which people enjoyed!
I would definitely recommend the workshop to other people as I think it was
fun, informative & appropriate for our age group. I would give the show
nine out of ten! '
