All sessions are conducted live via the secure online platform - Zoom, where students can interact, share ideas, and receive personalised feedback in real time.
The courses are divided by experience and age:
Beginners (Ages 7-9) – Perfect for young writers who are just starting their storytelling journey.
Developing Writers (Ages 9-11) – Ideal for children who enjoy writing and want to build on their skills.
Advanced Writers (Ages 11+) – Designed for confident writers who want to take their storytelling and writing techniques to the next level.
You'll find more information on the content of each course on the course pages for The Explorers, The Creators and The Masters.
If you're still unsure, feel free to get in touch, and we’ll help you choose the right course!
No prior experience is required! The courses cater to different levels, so whether your child is a complete beginner or already a budding author, they’ll find the right level of challenge and support.
There are resources to attached to most sessions and these will be available to your child at least 24 hours prior to the session taking place. Your child can print out the resources to use manually or they can have them on their screen to type. There is no right or wrong way.
Google Drive links will be shared at the start of each term.
A device with internet access, a notebook (or a document for typing), something to write with and a big imagination!
We’ll provide any additional worksheets or resources needed through a shared Google Drive (emailed after signing up and payment received).
The courses are ongoing programs, each lasting 2 years each. Young writers can move up course levels after every year or after every two years.
Once they have completed The Masters course, we’ll provide recommendations for next steps, including advanced classes or writing clubs to keep your child engaged.
Yes! Each student receives personalised feedback on at least two written pieces every half term (6 weeks). They may also receive verbal feedback in sessions, depending on how much they are able to particpate and opportunities in the sessions.
