Does this sound familiar?
Your child is full of potential, but everyday tasks feel harder than they should. Perhaps they:

-
Struggle to get started
-
Lose track of what they are doing
-
Forget what they need
-
Lose things all of the time
-
Need constant reminders
-
Need prompting to remain focused
-
Procrastinate
-
Delay starting something
-
Get distracted
-
Give up quickly or appear overwhelmed

What looks like avoidance, laziness or lack of effort can often be something more complex.

In these courses, we look to understand the skills behind these struggles and begin to build them in practical, manageable and engaging ways.
So, what are these skills?
These are the Executive Functioning Skills. They are the everyday thinking skills we use to plan, get started, stay focused, organise ourselves and complete tasks.
When these skills are underdeveloped or still developing, children can seem:
-
forgetful
-
avoidant
-
disorganised
-
unmotivated
But often, the real issue is not unwillingness — it is that the child does not yet have the skills to manage the task independently.

The good news is that executive functioning skills can be strengthened through understanding and practice.

Creative Education UK
We offer engaging online courses that help children learn about executive functioning skills in child-friendly ways and practise them through structured activities.

The aim is not to pressure children or expect instant change. It is to help them understand what feels difficult, learn practical strategies, and build confidence over time.

Parents are included in a supportive role, so they can better understand what is going on and how to help.

How it helps
This course is designed to help children and families move from frustration and confusion towards understanding, practical support and greater independence.
get started more easily
feel less overwhelmed by tasks
build an awareness of what feels difficult
develop practical strategies
grow in confidence
build independence
reduce friction around everyday routines
A practical approach - not a quick fix!
This is not about blame, pressure or expecting children to suddenly 'just do it'.

It is about helping children understand the skills they are finding hard and giving them practical, reusable ways to begin developing those skills over time.

The adults around them matter too, but this course is designed to help the children themselves build awareness, confidence and independence.
"Incredibly professional but also deeply passionate about helping children unlock their full potential, guiding them to rediscover their confidence and love for learning."

- Nicky
"Helen is amazing and the world would be a better place for children with additional needs if there were more teachers like her."

- IB, parent
"[my daughter] is writing reams and reams when due to her dysgraphia, previously she refused to write at all. She reads for pleasure and most significantly, I feel our daughter is happy and proud to be herself."
