Give them the gift of storytelling...

Life is hectic.

Between school drop-offs, work deadlines, and dinner prep, finding the time to support your child's creative development can feel impossible. And let's face it—writing is no easy skill to master.

Maybe you've noticed your child struggling to put their thoughts on paper, unsuccessfully trying to come up with ideas and frustrated that they don't flow the way they want.

You've tried to help but felt stuck on how to guide them without making it feel like an arduous task or homework!

We get it—and we're here for you. What would help is:

✔️a personalised approach in a small, safe and supportive group, where ideas can be supported, shared and built upon.
✔️ fun, interactive, hands-on games and activities that spark their imaginations to create something special.
✔️ an experienced, qualified professional, capable of explaining those grammatical nuances in a way that is easy to understand and useful in their writing.
✔️a mentor who will guide them in planning and executing a spellbinding story that they are proud of.

All the while, you know that your child is not only growing as a writer but also developing skills in...

✨ critical thinking
✨ imaginative thinking
✨ problem-solving
✨ communication
✨ resilience, perseverance and self-discipline
✨ empathy and emotional intelligence

And wouldn't it be GREAT to have online sessions that fit seamlessly into your family's busy schedule?

At Creative Education UK, we believe every child (and adult, for that matter) has a story worth sharing and we want to help children and young people develop the skills to share that story.

About

Creative Education UK

"Creativity is like sunshine for the brain!"

The author of this quote is unknown, but the meaning is crystal clear - our minds are happier when we have the freedom to create.

Creating can be anything from artwork to crafting and from sport to poetry. For me, it is all of those things, but especially writing.

And as I work on my own creative writing, it is my mission, through Creative Education UK- to inspire the next generation of writers and help them express themselves through the creativity of writing.

Introducing...

The Writers' Club

The Writers' Club from Creative Education UK features online creative writing sessions for children and young people. The Writers' Club has a simple aim:

"to help young writers enjoy the art of writing, using inspiration from the people and the world around them and creating exciting and enthralling pieces of fiction."

Young writers will explore great examples of writing in popular books and from many fantastic authors. Young writers read, analyse and experiment with the components of a story. They learn how to plan and piece them together to make a compelling read.

And all while having fun and lots of it too!

Join the Writers' Club

Helen is amazing and the world would be a better place for children with additional needs if there were more teachers like her.

Parent of M

[My daughter] is writing reams and reams when previously she refused to write at all!
